Brian
Brian is currently 14 years old. He is in high school, form two. He is the youngest member of his family, which consists of five members, including his two elder brothers. The family resides in one of the slums in Nairobi in a double-room rental house. They do not have access to their own water source, so they purchase water, and they share a bathroom and a pit latrine with other tenants in their living area.
Since joining the program, Brian has benefited from various educational and life skills support. These include programs related to computer skills, life skills, sexual and reproductive health education, drug and substance abstinence, and mental health support.
Brian has a clear aspiration for his future. He aims to become a mechanical engineer, which is a
promising career goal. By getting a sponsor, he has the potential to work toward achieving his dreams and making a positive impact on his life and community.

Boaz
Boaz was born on 12/06/2004. He went to high school at Nyambaria Boys High School. Boaz joined the program in July 2012 but his sponsor recently abjured. He lives with his father and siblings. His mother died in 2006. His father is a security guard, thus, mostly works at night, leaving the children alone. They are a family of six, his father, three brothers, and two sisters. They live in a single-roomed cement block house that has electricity, the house. He takes three meals daily. They use a kerosene stove to prepare simple meals. They share a latrine with more than fifteen other households in the plot. He is a jovial, bright, courageous, active, and confident young man. His hobby is reading storybooks and attending computer lessons at the organization and library during school breaks. He would like to be an engineer when he grows up. His favorite subjects are English, History and government, Biology and Mathematics. He loves playing soccer. He is a top performer. He managed to get enrollment at one of the most prestigious universities in the country. He is studying at Kenyatta University and he loves it there already. He would like to be successful in life, and is, therefore, working hard to achieve his dreams.
